Time and attention become scarce. Being a VC i guess is "easier" to keep up because you can sort of participate in many things that go on at the same time, by investing in companies that target a trend. Bigger problem is for entrepreneurs that have to run a day to day business, can't keep up with the news, let alone the many opportunities that appear every day. Focus, focus, focus should be the mantra of the entrepreneur. Easier to say, harder to do.

Re: Time Bankruptcy…The Power of NO

Its easy to say NO. The hard part is to make someone feel good while saying NO. Good enough to come back for another (likely) NO.

Re: Time Bankruptcy…The Power of NO

No works. Now if I can only convince my client to say no to the random opportunities that they come across.

Re: Time Bankruptcy…The Power of NO

What a great reminder and lesson. I guess the trick here is to working on stacking all your chips while saying NO? and along the way, say YES ever so often. Howard, wish you the greatest things.
