    Howard,

On the weirdness of Twitter....I found this post today particularly interesting. I was actually trying to find a way to send you a message to let you know that it was specially difficult to Follow you on Twitter. I kept hitting follow and when I would go back to my account I wasn't following you. I did this several times until it worked.

I have had other strange things happen such as, having people unfollowed for me. I heard about this and thought people were making it up but it's true. It has happened with people that I happen to interact with often so I know I did not unfollow them.

Anyway, thought you would want to know.

    Take care,

You are not on their recommended list because you use Twitter to make money. If they recommend you, they'd have to explain why many other people seem to make money building businesses with Twitter, but they can't seem to earn a copper-less penny. (This presumes that they are not recommending other pure "Twitter businesses" -- and I didn't have the patience to verify the entire list -- which seems at least partly pay-to-play to me).

Like King Leonidas said, Glory will be yours, Howard. Time to watch the 300 trailer for a little inspiration: http://bit.ly/BHUiZ

I still cannot believe the shortsightedness of Twitter's leaders. They should hire someone from Apple to show them how to monetize from the opening of their platform. They should be swapping shares with the most popular third party applications that use their platform. It is a win-win situation. No one has ever achieved anything significant by being everything for everybody.
